How HeyPogo works in Chrome
HeyPogo is a Chrome extension. Its side panel sits beside the webpage you are using. You give it a task, grant access to that site when Chrome asks, and watch it work in your active tab.
Start with the extension
- Add the current preview build. It is an unpacked Chrome extension, not a public Chrome Web Store install. Testers with the build can follow the setup instructions after signing in.
- Open the page you want help with. Click HeyPogo’s toolbar icon or press Alt+J to open its side panel.
- Describe the task. The first time a task needs access to a site, Chrome asks whether HeyPogo may work there. HeyPogo starts with no site access.
- Watch and review. HeyPogo shows its steps in the side panel while it acts on the page. You can stop it, and you can ask it to leave a reply as a draft.

Where it can work
HeyPogo works on supported HTTP and HTTPS pages after you grant the site permission. It works in the active tab and can follow links needed for the task. Chrome’s own internal pages and some protected or unusual interfaces are outside the normal extension flow.
